Brambles Accommodation.

"Brambles" cottage is a grade II Listed building and was built in the 1600's. It is one of the eight homes in the tiny hamlet of Sprytown.
It has been lovingly restored and is a fantastic shade of pink. It is situated just two miles outside the village of Lifton, on the border of Devon
and Cornwall. Lifton boasts of a "Royal" visitor, King Charles I, he spent the night in the village in 1644 during the civil war. Sprytown is also
mentioned in the Domesday Book, and much of its history is entwined with that of Hayne Manor. Hayne Manor was the country residence
of Lord Stockton, Hayne is now owned by the Boothe Gibbon family.

The Lounge
While you are staying at Brambles we want you to make yourself at home, our home becomes your home.
The "Lounge" is a cosy room, it has a large hearth with a wood burning fire. Their are oak beams, slate floors and many
other interesting features. You can relax and enjoy each others company in front of the fire with a drink each evenings.
There is access to a T.V. for news and weather.

Kitchen & Dining Room
The "Kitchen" is a large room off the dining area. It has a wonderful slate floor and some interesting rural
fixtures. This part of the house has been joined to the original house and we think the dining area was
once a barn.
There will be a three options at breakfast, light lunches will vary depending on location.
Each evening you can enjoy a delicious home cooked meal with wine. We are happy to accommodate
anyone with special dietary requirements.

The Garden

The large "Garden" around the house offers many places to paint or relax.
A stroll through the rose and willow garden will lead you to the steps taking you down to a trickling stream
that meanders through the lower garden. Take the bridge to the orchard, sit in peace
and tranquillity, and gather your thoughts.
