From the north heading west leaving the nearest Motorway, the M5 it ends at Exeter. Take the A30 going West following signs
for Okehampton. Continue on the A30 past Okehampton following signs for Launceston. Approximately 7 miles before Launceston
there is a large exit sign, coloured brown indicating “Fairground Heritage Centre,” take this exit. Its a short slip road so
indicate early and slow down as you exit. At the end of the slip road turn left, don't take the first turning to the kennels,
continue up this road for about 2 miles to the top of the hill. At the crossroads, Sprytown Cross, go straight across down a
small lane. Pass the “Thatched Cottage” on the right and “Rydons” on the Left. Take the next turning on the right at the no
through road sign, and Brambles Art Retreat is the second property on the right. You cant miss it as its a fantastic shade of Pink.
Drive through the gate to a large courtyard at the rear of the house.

Interesting places to visit.

Brambles is situated in an area of outstanding beauty, located in North-West Devon near the Cornwall border, only two miles outside
The village of Lifton with its archetypal pubs and Parish Church. Two Moors are just a short drive away - Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
Dartmoor is visible across the local fields. We are surrounded by stunning views, pretty streams and rivers amidst a wealth of moorland,
peppered with wild ponies and cattle. The NT sites of Lydford Gorge, Finch Foundry, Cotehele, Lanhydrock and Buckland Abbey are all near by.
The incredible Eden Project is only 40 minutes drive away and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth is about 1.5 hours away by car.
The Tate gallery, set in the pretty town of St Ives, is well worth a visit. For the more adventurous, the Minnack theatre at Lands End
is a must. Both coast lines are just a short drive and the sandy beaches of Bude are only 25 miles away. The historic naval port of Plymouth
is 23 miles away and Exeter is 40 miles due East.
